What I learned at the crash:
- As crisis mounts, leadership transparency and communication must INCREASE. They cannot remain steady, or decrease.
- Any fool can lead when things are going well.
- Innovation which lasts (i.e., seeps into the fabric of the organization) requires good relationships. These must be multidirectional relationships within the org.
- When the rate of change OUTSIDE the organization exceeds the rate of change INSIDE...the end is in sight.
- Self preservation (getting out of the car before it crashes) is not selfishness.
That's true of my friend, Jim, too. He's a great guy. Totally. And as far as I can tell, he never farts. He has one of the more hiliariously odd senses of humour that I've known.
BUBBLE RULE #1: British spellings are allowed. More rules to follow as I dream them up.
British spellings ought to be allowed. Also, I challenge you to use at least one semicolon per entry.
